How to Choose The Right Skip Bin Size

The right skip size depends on 2 things: how much waste you have, and what type of waste it is. A 2m³ or 3m³ mini skip can be a great fit for smaller clean-ups, tighter access, or heavier materials such as soil, concrete, bricks and pavers. A 4m³ or 6m³ skip bin is usually better for larger household clean-outs, moving jobs, shed clear-outs, renovation rubbish and bigger garden clean-ups.

If you are looking at a pile of rubbish and thinking it might be a close call, it is usually better value to go a little bigger rather than book too small. A skip that is too small can leave you with waste still sitting on the ground, and overloaded skip bins cannot be transported above the top rim for legal and safety reasons.
